After her mother passed away, Sydney Lewis Glover, was
shocked to find
hidden beneath her mother’s bed, an amazing cache of surrealistic
works of art her mother had painted. Sydney stated her mother never showed the
family her creations and didn’t speak of it. The only painting Glover’s husband
can recall ever seeing was on that hung in his closet.
The artist, Doris Lindo Lewis, had painted over 60 works of museum
quality pieces, some worth over $12,000. It is rather sad that the world never
had a chance to speak to this talented artist and tell her what a wonderful
